I've been using it since receiving it & no probs yet. It is a mist, definitely not a spray or squirt. I have only tried it with canola oil for my food that goes in the air fryer. Can't say anything about thicker oils like olive because I hardly use them. Have read many reviews complaining about these sprayers but this 1 works great for its purpose.It brought the cleaning brush, funnel to fill it, and a silicone basting brush. So for me, it's been easy to fill, clean, and use.
