Great option for the price, and easy to convert for other applications if you get a quick connect set to go with it.The joins where the fittings meet the hose ends feel like they could be heavier duty, so I try to be as gentle as possible when mating the gladhands, usually resting the gladhands against a cab extender for a third point of leverage, rather than just torquing the hose ends by hand.Also, for actually topping up tires, using truck air is kind of annoying. I keep my steer tires at 110 psi, and the air governor cuts out at 125, but doesn't kick back on until it drops below 100. That means I can only raise tire pressure about 3 psi before I have to get in the truck and play with the brakes and throttle until the governor cuts back in and fills thd tiny air tanks to 125 again. If I had room for a bigger air tank, that might help, but the pressure differential between 110 and 125 is so minimal with the size of the air reservoirs on the truck. A dedicated compressor, regulated at a higher pressure, with a bigger tank, would be better suited to tire filling.Also, I suppose any applications requiring less than 100 psi would be easier to serve with truck air.This hose was very useful when used with a blow gun to clear out clogged washer fluid lines and nozzles. I can't see having to go to a shop just because I can't squirt methanol water on the road salt that's blinding me. I've already used it to clear two clogs in the two weeks I've had it.
