I'm very tall, former athlete, typically wear exactly a 40 waist in pretty much everything. I got the 2XL (39-42 waist) and while it looked pretty dang good, it still ran a hair small. Figured what the heck, jocks are stretchy. Wore it for one workout and going out for a few hours dancing, and already part of the strap stitching on one side has come loose. The straps are sewn at an angle halfway up the elastic waistband, and the other side looks completely fine so it seemed to be an issue with the stitching.Think about sizing up if you can, and watch out for loose stitching. I'm going to have try to repair essentially a brand new jock since it came unstitched in the first use.Pics of side with issue and other side for comparison.
