I have never installed an air conditioning unit. The instructions with these units were very good and I did receive an answer from the seller to a question I had. The unit seems well built for the price. It worked as required and my house is cooler than it has ever been. Pretty hard for a DIY, but well worth the $4,500 I saved by not hiring any of the 4 contractors who quoted me (and that savings is including the cost of the specialty tools required). Very happy with the unit so far.
