This lid is amazing! I had been putting off buying one for the longest time because I wasn't sure that I really needed it. After getting tired of using plastic wrap, I decided to buy it. It is one of the best purchases I have made. When I first opened the package, I thought it was a little weird, it is definitely real silicone. It felt heavier than I thought it would as well. I was expecting a regular plastic lid, but the fact that it is silicone makes it so much better! Not only does it create a tight seal (I know this because if you put it in the fridge the lid goes a bit concave as the food cools and the air inside it condenses), but it can also withstand a bit of heat. I use it to warm up leftovers instead of dirtying another lid or the pressure cooker lid. I haven't tried warming it on high or anything, but it works great if you just lay it on the pot and push the "keep warm" button or even to use the saute button low, med-lo and med. If you do this, make sure you just lay it gently on the lid, preferably with a little gap so you don't accidentally build up pressure in the pot. I would definitely buy it again if I ever need to!This lid should have come with the product! This was a great invention. I no longer have to waste aluminum foil to cover my food! This is a great buy!I had an issue with the lid not fitting my Foodi well and customer service reached out to me and went above and beyond to make the situation right. They have excellent communication and really appreciate the vendor fixing the situation.I bought an extra inner pot as well and I will most likely get another. Didn't realize how much I needed this in my life.This was not the slightly flexible, snugly fitting cover that I expected. It is very thick, very rubbery and flexible silicon that doesn’t quite fit the top of either of my ninja 6.5 qt pressure cooker bowls - the original or the goldlion stainless steel. I would’ve been happy with something that at least sealed the top for refrigerator storage, but where the edges won’t stay securely, it cant even fulfill this basic need.The thick rubbery quality means that it flops when stored sideways, and I imagine this to be a challenge to keep clean over time.I am very happy with my stainless steel pot from Gold Lion, but was disappointed by the quality and functionality of this lid.Pay the extra money and get the Ninja brand.I maunly use it cover the turkey when brining. Occasionally, I may store food that I plan to reheat the next day such as chicken and dumplings, soup, chili. I don't do this often. Cleans up well in the dishwasher.At first I didn’t think it would fit because I have an 8 quart Foodi and package says 6 quart. It fits perfectly, you need to press down so it fits under the lip of the pan, then it’s sealed tightly. Very nice weight. I love it.Great lid, very convenient to have when cooling large batches ahead. All you do is let your food cool, out the lid on and refrigerate until the next day. Remove the lid to reheat. It cleans easily and stores just fine. As for durability, we will see over time. I just love the convenience.I like the feel of the lid and the concept of it but it is too small and when you are trying to seal it down on the Ninja Foodi 6.5qt bowl, it pops up on another edge... I've tried everything to pull it and stretch it to fit but still pops upHad to return because it simply didn't fit my Ninja Foodi inner pot 6.5qt. I thought I'd get a full refund for both the item + have free return postage but no. The item was like $18+ and the postage was close to $20. I only got about $10 for the postage. This is my first negative review.
