I use these for cooking Egg Beaters in the microwave. I pour some liquid egg into the bowl. Add a about a teaspoon of water, cover with a napkin, and cook in the microwave on reheat (I have not tried other cook time settings). What is interesting is after the eggs cook, they have shrunk into a round circle smaller than the bowl. They come right out of the bowl with a little nudge with a spoon. Any egg residue left behind easily cleans out with no scrubbing.
