Dispenser works very well. Takes a little time to set the clock and program it, but the little manual that comes with it walks you through the process pretty clearly. I have mine set to spray every 10 minutes from 5AM until midnight, but you can choose different spray intervals and time of day to dispense.Love this automatic air freshener. I find it very difficult to get this product to work the way it should. The air freshener simply did not fit in the slots properly and it should have had some type of clamping device to force the spray in the correct spot. It does not have this!!! I think there is a flaw in the design of this machine. I could not get the machine to line the spray up properly and spray as it should. Easier to just spray the air freshener yourself. I hate the though of buying one that goes off day and night every 30 minutes … seems like such a waste.The set up was pretty straightforward but it is a little odd. They have you set up your spray setting before entering the current date and time.Follow the instructions and it should be a breeze.Not sure how long the batteries will last but I know i wont be running out of spray sooner than later.This one is ridiculously troubling to set the timer!
