I was very excited to get this and I'm happy with the results of what I've cooked so far, but it apparently does not do all the functions I thought it would based on the description in the product details. It says there's 10 presets, but there really isn't. Part of why I ordered this air grill was the bean/chili preset that does not exist on this grill. The only options are air grill, bake, roast, air fry, dehydrate, beef, and fries. In the description it says "10 selectable presets including meat, bean/chili, beef, porridge, pork, vegetables, saute etc." Looking at the photo with this review, where are those presets on this unit? Also, the picture in the listing shows the buttons being white and very easy to read, but they're really not. I have a hard time seeing what I'm pressing without using my phone's flashlight. If I didn't already throw the box away, I'd probably return it and get a different one that actually has the features I thought this one would.Update: Still wondering what the difference is between the s model and the more expensive one. The description for both items is the exact same. I wish I waited and thought about it more. It would have saved me $50.Update 12/28/21 - We still use this grill regularly and are still happy with the results. Sometimes, it gives off a smell similar to melting plastic. I'm not sure if it's a result of oil buildup in the machine because it's hard to clean the element grate and you can't clean the heating element at all or if it's that the plastic is actually getting hot, but the odor is occasionally there. Who knows, maybe I had COVID and didn't know it. I really like the grill grate though, so I hope it's nothing to worry about.What I like the most is that it's easy to clean, but it is not a smokeless grill. I grilled some burgers on it when I first got it, and my smoke alarm kept on going off. The burgers were juicy and full of flavor though!I really wanted to Like this...I waited over a yr to write review, it burns everything and problem is it has to preheat even seconds after cooking something then it burns...I'm a vegetarian with not a lot of free time I'd like to come home throw something simple in af and eat EVERYTHING BURNS OR DRIES OUT!!IT JUST QUIT!AFTER ONLY 7 MONTHS.So easy to clean and to use for the most part. If I could make a suggestion it would be great if the functions buttons were lit up, other than that it is the best air fryer for the money. I bought accessories for it and have been baking in it.It’s a little confusing to use. Definitely different from the standard air fryer. I haven’t used the grill part yet. I’m getting ready to though. It is super nice.Admittedly, I'm not one who reads directions but by trial and error, this is pretty easy to use. It's different from just an air fryer (or at least from the one I had previously) because it does have to preheat seemingly longer than my old one (which was just an air fryer). I love how big this is for my hungry family of 5 as I can make one batch of fries or nuggets or wings etc. vs having to make multiple. It seems to cook evenly and I'm excited to try the dehydrator function.This BBDAY cooker is perfect for what we wanted. Very easy to use, works great to air fry bacon, bake potatoes when the kitchen oven is in use. I just put the cooking parts in my dishwasher and they come out perfectly clean. I have cooked roasts, grilled steaks and air fried Buffalo Wing and Chicken Noughets and they come out great. I have a place on my countertop and it fits perfectly and is out of the way. I could not be happier with this product. I have used it almost every day since I purchased it in May of 2021. Keep up the good work in manufacturing great products such as this one.
