I bought my air fryer unit on a Black Friday deal for $149.99. So, I will start by saying that $26.99 (at time of order) sounded pretty pricey for this item. I mean, only one of the five different insert pieces costing 1/6 of the price of the whole fancy unit!?!? Yikes. However... in my experience, the baking tray is always the insert that takes the worst beating on these types of units. And with my unit only having three months use on it, I can already see wear on this tray. So, overall, I have to say that to keep the unit in top functioning condition, having a backup of this item is a good idea. Additionally, if you are creative, you might use both in the air fryer at once. I have.Now, you should be aware that it is not identical to the original baking sheet. This one is extremely shiny, whereas the original was more of a grey finish. Depending on what you are baking, that shiny finish could affect the outcome, so I think it's important to realize.Aside from the finish being different, it fits the air fryer perfectly and cooking on it has not been any issue. I'm really glad to have the backup.
