I bought an XS for my 3 year old when she started playing T-ball. All of the other 3 or 4 year olds on the team have a 'too big' helmet that is bouncing around on their head and the padding doesn't touch where it's supposed to. This was the only helmet I could find that went small enough to fit right and it fits perfect. Sure, it likely won't fit her next year and I'll have to buy another but, at this price, I can afford that and I'd rather have something as important as her helmet fitting correctly. Next to the fit, it's also a great looking helmet. The orange is bright and shiny and, since her team colors are black and orange, it works out perfect. It also seems to breathe pretty well as I don't get any complaints about being hot while wearing it, even when sitting in the dugout waiting for 10 other batters to go. Will definitely be back for another when I need next years helmet.
