I first saw this plant sold in stores in Hawaii and I wanted to setup one up as an experiment with my kid. I received it quickly and in good condition. I cut each leaf in half and placed each piece on top of moist garden soil. After a few days it started to sprout buds and begin the process of reforming. It is really a treat to watch. Each of my four plants is doing well and seems to tolerate plenty of moisture. Don't leave it in standing water but do give it plenty of water and leave it in an indoor spot with lots of light.
