I started with an Army medallion to attach to the glass front of my brothers flag display case. I had to get some Air Force medallions for the rest of my family. I put mine on the window of my car, it looks great. They are a very thin metal so they don't make anything bulky. The backing peels off and leaves a nice sticky back to place on any smooth surface. Once you put it on there is a clear film on the front that protects the metal that you can peel off. Good product.
