Our air intake system utilizes a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air. This model includes a Pro 5 filter which gets reoiled every 10,000 miles and serviced every 50,000 miles with cleaning kit P/N 5100. Really high quality super happy with my purchase. Has a nice woosh sound to it and sucks a TON of air can’t wait to tune my truck. No difference in fuel economy but helps a little with throttle response and pick up for sure. Pulls all the way to redline now rather than cutting off. Only complaint I have is that the stock MAF sensor screw holes didn’t line up correctly with the pipe. Small flaw but I was able to make it work after wrestling with it and trying different ways to screw it in. That’s why it got four stars and not 5 but Other than that really really good buy.
