I bought this unit to use with material at it's maximum rated thickness. The nibbler does bind from time to time - and then - usually at the beginning of a cut. Once it starts it is me that is the limiting factor.The cut is nice and neat and needs very little finishing - better than my chop-saw (which I have been using on 6mm sheet - and miles better than the plasma cutter - all I need to do is work out a few tricks for cutting straight edges.
