This little fan can push a good bit of air for its size, is plenty for a desk or small office setup provided you aren't trying to cool an entire room, but more a personal space. It has a good looking appeal, looking as far as I'm concerned better than most box fans, or other fans at this size. The only issue I have noticed has to do with build quality, which at times can seem to have fallen short. At lower speeds, it can make a small rattle noise when it's running, even onto the second setting. However this issue has never been present in my experience at the highest setting, so If you are planning on running at max for most the day, you won't ever notice it. For small little speeds in a mostly quiet room, you'll hear it.Good little fan for the price. Versatile, lightweight, easy to use. Just enough output for this hot sleeper to use by the bed. Noise is very low. If you like fans when sleeping, this would be easy to pack for vacation. While the fan is attractive enough, fairly quiet, and the clip makes it more versatile than most table fans, I expected a far more powerful air movement given the hefty weight. Since the primary purpose of a fan is air movement, I found that disappointing.I bought this to replace a Vornado Zippi personal fan. I was hoping for a quieter and more powerful fan, and was disappointed on both fronts. The control on the back is also harder to access as it is recessed. I should have saved a few dollars and stuck with zippi. My husband needed something in his office because apparently the wrong people have control over the thermostat. This little guy is so perfect. It is small but super powerful and quiet. I would buy another one except he might get air-lifted with 2!! And for those of you that care… very sleek clean for style. Not a redneck box fan looking fan at all!!!I love the color which blends in well with computer area setup. Really Lightweight it does move quite a lot of air. No issues. I used 4 to 5 days a week in my office while running to high demand gaming pc in the same room. Just wish was a bit quieter but it does do the job outstandingly well.I have a shelf for plants across my kitchen window and this hooks right on to the shelf and allows me to pull hot air out of my kitchen. Super effective.I’ve just started using this fan, so I don’t know how long it will last. Hopefully, it will work for a long time as it blows off nice air. I personally don’t think the noise level is too high although I do enjoy the noise that a fan makes. I would buy this again. This is NOT designed to work in the UKThis is a nice looking fan, however, the darn thing is so powerful that it skids across any surface that I put it on and won't stay put rendering it useless. I would have it zero stars if I could. It has tiny rubber elastics on the footings which I imagine are supposed to keep it in place - it does not. The fan vibrates it's way across many surfaces making it pretty loud, unsafe, and totally unpredictable. These, of course, are not features one looks for in a fan.Really liked the look of this fan compared to most others, and at a very reasonable price. Now I know why it’s so cheap - it barely creates any cold air even at maximum setting, is noisy, vibrates my whole desk and worst of all, emits a slight metallic burning smell. Won’t send back as too much hassle. Wish I’d just bought a Dyson fan in the first place. Buy cheap, buy twice! Here's a list of some basic flaws:1. There is no weighed base, instead it relies on the weight of the frame which curls around the side, this causes imbalance since there is no equivalent weight on the other side.2. The lug nut to change the direction the fan is blowing is not set on a perpendicular angle, it is set on a wild angle that makes it impossible to direct where it is blowing.3. The shell of the thing can't be taken apart for cleaning, the only way to clean it is to literally submerge it in a fast flowing river.4. The power button is on the very back of the device, so if you're trying to turn it on you have to reach around to the back of the device and feel by hand how to turn it on. And then you get blasted in the face.5. The very first notch from OFF to ON is the most powerful, meaning you get blasted in the face extra hard.6. The switch is a twisty type, with RECESSED BITS, and the inner edge is concave not convex. This means you are reaching your hand around the device, can't actually see the dial, and are trying to turn a twisty switch with the least amount of leverage available.7. There is no effort to hide the power cable in the base or make it easier to twist, it is made of extremely hard plastic and just sits there, often it gets tangled underneath the base and causes it to overbalance and fall. By the way how hard is it to put a switch on the power cable?I could go on forever how bad the design of this fan is, it is basically form over function. It is designed to look pretty and annoy the hell out of anyone who tries to actually use it.Whoever made it was some idealistic student (or engineer right out of school) who had ZERO common sense and did not test his design in real life before production. I have a feeling it was done on a computer.Ok this is long. I was really excited about this personal fan, my boyfriend said it wasn't worth it and I thought it was so beautiful and the reviews were pretty good so it must be good right? Meh...I turned it on and I had to check with a piece of paper if it was on because I was feeling little to no air. I wasn't expecting a strong breeze to blow me away just ... a breeze/somewhat of an airflow.... and the noise. Listen if it gave me something and made that much noise ok I get it work your magic! But now it's just plain and simple : they want us to remember that we made a bad decision.I am ashamed of myself for buying this! Like I'm gonna have to hear my boyfriend say "I told you it would suck!"Listen I'm giving it one star for looks( it is pretty) and one star because the paper folded a bit when I tried it.
