They seem to not cause loss of heating efficiency between the inductive coals and the pot/pan. They help cooking devices to stick better from moving than a glass top alone. They will discolor using cast iron, and sometimes sustained simmering (bone marrow soup) or peak high heat for boiling. Does not affect operation or degrade material. As long as not discolored they look good on the glass top. As noted before, only use these with pure inductive stove system. Radiant heating under glass top is noted as a no no. Our inductive stove, all sizes work great.I like the shape & added color They look nice on the stove . They stay where I put it.Works on my induction cooktop perfectly. Makes the pots not slip off the burners and has a magnetic grip. An added bonus: they make seeing the induction burner easier to see and make sure the pots are properly placed.
