Good product and price. Used this product on my 2021 Harley road glide.The Avon’s are a huge upgrade over the stock plastic trash. The left grip was a challenge to mount on a new Road Glide with RDRS option. The grip has an eccentric end that the switch housing will not clear internally. I had to take a Dremel with a sanding bit and round off the eccentric end in order to get it to clear the housing and set at the right depth. Essentially, this makes the end round like the stock grip. Once that was done and test fitted, a few drops of heavy duty super glue is all that’s needed to mount the grip. The effort was worth it as these grips are night and day difference.ok let's start off by saying this is my 3rd pair of avons, love em. Absolutely amazing. With that said these DO NOT fit the 2020 road glide (special) without you busting out your dremel (grinder too big) you need to grind off the wall tab on your bars (they hold the assembly from shifting, you don't need em) AND the tab inside your lever clamp side (little black nipple looking piece of metal, same concept, ya dont need em) After that the left is on, bang bang 5 minutes. Ok now the throttle. Forget it, invest some time if you want these to work properly, your gonna need to apply some grip tape over the gear on your fly by wire because the grips will not grab it. Add a little gurth with the tape, problem solved. Now comes to the twist. You need to grind down the end to make the circumference smaller and thin out the ledge for the grip to twist inside the housing. If you want em, your gonna work for em. I got em to work so I hope this helps if you REALLY want to get em on. Still love Avon. Hope you guys adress these issues.I've never swapped a set of grips before, and I put them on the wrong side at first. I put the fly-by-wire throttle side on the clutch handle. This is obviously not correct. Don't be like me. Wasted a few minutes and felt like a total idiot. The grip with the little gear teeth on the inside goes on the right, the tight fitting handle goes on the left. Awesome grips and I'm extremely happy with them. They make cruising around town in hot weather with sweaty hands less bothersome.These grips are top notch, not too thick not too thin i have good sized hands though. I also purchased these Motek Dna Monster bars from Amazon and they are great as well. The flange on the end of the throttle grip is a throttle boss also ordered rom Amazon that i added to the grips. Very pleased with the turn outI wanted grips with larger than OEM diameter. These grips are just a little bit larger, nothing crazy. You won't have any problems installing. Don't even need glue! I was having hand cramps then I installed these and rode 200+ miles with no discomfort. No trendy spikes or skulls just all day comfort!Work and fit well on 2020 FLHPLiked that they were all black was going for that look. Very comfortable in the hand, dampened vibration in handle bar.
