When I fly or find myself in the general crush of humanity I will take as small ionizer with me to give myself some relief. In theory this unit - and the ones I've worn traveling overseas two decades ago - give you a breath of fresh air. It also is supposed to cause certain types of particulates to drop out of the air - based upon the power of ions to bind with such things. As to whether that give you any actual protection against viruses or other irritants I cannot say. What I can say is that when you've traveled wearing a mask, sat next two someone on a train for three hours who brought their own salami and that is the only smell coming from them that you can identify without inducing nausea, or you've been placed in a conference room which was last used by a strident smokers' rights group, it does at least make the air smell better even if it is just around your face. The charge on it covers more than enough time for even the longest international flight. The only weakness I've found is the metal lanyard which will and has fatigued with use. Thus the 4 not 5 star review.I tested this at home by putting vape smoke in a glass vase turned upside down on the counter. First without the purifier to see if the smoke would dissipate on its on and then with the purifier. The smoke did not go away at all without it. With the purifier the smoke was gone within about 15 seconds. I've purchase another brand from here (AirKitty) and the smoke took significantly longer to go away. Maybe a couple minutes or so. I recommend this brand. Reasonably priced and great as another layer of protection with your mask. Planning on buying 2 more for a trip to Europe in an effort to get as much protection as possible during the plane ride.Works very good as a front yard Eye CatcherThis Wearable Personal Air Purifier Necklace is wonderfully lightweight, small, and compact. I wear it around my neck to receive negative ions and for a cleaner, healthier personal space. This is said to and has been proven to reduce viruses, bacteria, pollen, and dust in my personal space. This gives me a bit of peace in our crazy COVID times. I feel better with this on. It is completely silent. I hear no sound whatsoever from it, nor do I smell any associated aroma/scent. There are no filters to worry about and it is rechargeable and lasts a very long time on a charge. I'm thankful to have this Personal Air Purifier and am very happy with it.I just started going out in public because of COVID, so I ordered this to be safe. I also go to the gym with it, and it helps out a lot. Some of the treadmills have air condition built in so with that and this turned on, i feel more comfortable. I just wish i could change the neck chain. More like a dogtag neck chain. It also helps with my 420 scents.It shocks you often. I just hope that it continues to last a long time and actually do what it’s supposed to do ?It's a must buy thing you would like to have when you are working in outdoor or indoor (such as warehouse, restaurant and so on).
