Belkin Slim Style Protective Case for iPad Air 2 & iPad Air (Azalea & Fiesta) - Lightweight Durable Cover for Work, School & Travel

I don't usually do reviews but just wanted to post this to let folks know that this is an excellent case for the IPad Air 2. I purchased it about two weeks ago and have been extremely satisfied -- so much so that I returned the Apple Smart Case that I bought. First, the ipad fits easily and securely under the case's tabs. I noticed that some reviewers complained about not being able to fit the ipad under the tabs. If you take your time and lift the tabs ever so slightly, the ipad will slide in. You wouldn't want the tabs to be any looser otherwise your ipad would fall out. Second, the case provides great viewing alternatives: low angle (sometimes called the typing mode); and 3 or 4 upright angles. The inside of the case has a wonderful soft and slightly tactile surface that allows the footrest holding the tablet to stay securely in place once you choose a position you like. It takes a minute or two to figure out how to maneuver the case into the various positions, but once you get it down, it's easy. This tactile surface also means that the Ipad and case won't slip when you're holding it on your lap. The slippage factor was the number one reason I returned the Apple Smart Case. The design of the case allows easy access to the volume buttons, charging port and headphone jack. It also does not interfere with using the IPad for photos or videos. Finally, the cover of the case provides a secure closure (slightly magnetic) and utilizes the sleep function. It is easy to open when you're ready to roll (not to continually harp on Apple, but I found the Apple smart case difficult to open. This case by Belkin provides security for the Ipad but it also allows you to view and use your beautiful new IPad! Until the market catches up and floods us with more options, this is a well made and useful case for the Ipad Air 2.
