I've used this primarily for hand grinding scientific joints on glassware, and it works perfectly.I'm sure there are plenty of other uses, but for glass grinding it's excellent, and even when grinding with my bare hands it's cuts quickly and doesn't need to be reapplied until the job is done!! (For reference, my technique is to mix some of the powder with a bit of Dawn dish soap to make a thick slurry, and apply to the male joint stick it into the female and hand twist it until I'm satisfied with the fit!)
