These are well made "hot weather" gloves. I needed a new pair of summer motorcycle gloves after leaving my Cortechs on the bike in the sun and the knuckle guards melted!Not as much protection as other gloves I have but much cooler to wear. The palms are a reasonable thickness of leather and the knuckles have a hard shell. These look to be my goto gloves when the temps get over 95 deg F - which is most of the summer here.
