This is the perfect fan for my room. It small, sturdy, a nice shape, and it creates this kind of magical, swirling, gentle breeze that somehow cools the entire room without blowing too hard on any one direction - which is amazing because it doesn’t oscillate. NYT Wirecutter reviews recommended a different model for their top choice, because it was super quiet. But this was on their list too. I gave it four stars for noise only because the highest setting sounds like a normal fan. Other than that, this product is fantastic. Highly, highly recommend! Maybe even splurge and buy the one with the remote control. If I knew how much I was going to love this fan, that’s what I would have done!
