This fan is quiet on the lowest setting but still moves a substantial amount of cool air for its size. I am satisfied. My wife was annoyed by fan noise but I wanted the cool air blowing on us. This fan does the trick. If I were to put it on the 2nd or 3rd speed there is a chance she might not be happy but thus far this has not been needed as the lowest setting works just fine for what I needed.These fans work well and really do create airflow throughout the whole room. It’s pleasant to sleep with this fan to have air circulating but not the traditional back and forth air movement of an oscillating fan (which keeps me awake from the constant change in airflow). However, if you plan to use these with a GCFI outlet be warned that changing the speed will trip your outlet. There is a warning on the instructions that this is common with GCFI outlets but since the first speed is high and I usually want low or medium it’s really frustrating to have to reset the outlet every time I turn the fan on. Also, the high setting is super loud. Also, very nit picky but I wish the order of settings went off-low-medium-high instead of off-high-medium-low so it wasn’t so loud turning it on or off in my kids rooms while they are sleeping.2022 being one of the hottest years on record, this little air blaster has been a blessing is great for cooling down a small room or workspace. Reasonably-priced as well! It can be a little noisy when set on high, but medium and low are much quieter. Definitely recommend this fan.I got this fan in 2015 and it worked till now. It was very regularly used and it ran most of day during summers.I bought it for our camper. It packs well and I like that you can aim it at the ceiling.Love this fan. Not noisy at all and the speeds are perfect. Best portable fan I've ever owned.This little fan has been a godsend in this weather. I actually bought the small round one too but this one is better. It actually blows cool air. It is lightweight. I put it in the living room during the day and in the bedroom at night. Some people complain that it is too loud. Not for me! At night it acts like white noise. I put it on high and fall asleep quickly in the cool breeze. Totally worth the price.This is my favorite fan ever! It is small but mighty and easy to more where ever I need to use it. I usually keed in my office to quickly cool the room or in my work out room when exercising. A friend was visiting and loved it so much she ordered one.Products rarely impress me these days, but...This Compact, Solidly Constructed ‘Turbine‘ has Surpassed All of my expectations.I received it in February of 2018 and have been running it, almost non-stop, ever since.It has 3 speeds.1st is very quiet.2nd is considerably louder.3rd is pretty loud.That being said, 2 & 3 MOVE AIR.The design is pretty Ingenious and, if used properly, should pay for itself by reducing utility bills.Arrived in the manufacturer's original box with my address on it, and upon taking out of the plastic bag, there were two pieces of broken plastic left inside the bag. The motor/blade assembly was clearly not secured to the base any longer.I took the fan apart and could see that the motor housing nests inside a plastic sleeve of sorts, and has two long screws that secure the housing to the rear of the base. (ie. the intake end of the fan). Rather than return it, I made sure the electronics worked , then simply used a long zip tie to secure the housing in place, looping the zip tie through the slots at the back of the frame.I would recommend most people should return it for exchange or refund in order to maintain the warranty but I would personally like to avoid any further unnecessary landfill contributions (I'm not super eco-conscious, but have noticed that many consumer-grade items over my lifetime can be fixed quite easily with not much time or money - if any at all).Strong air flow, compact. The fan blows the air upwards so when you are using it to cool off it works better placed on the floor. If you want to use it up higher you might have to put somethin under the back legs to make the air flow blow on you instead of the ceiling. My big beef is it has no carrying handle it makes it awkward to pick to pick up. It works great for pulling in nice cool air in the window but I have to put a book under the back legs so the air flow is not pointed at the ceiling. Wouldn't buy it again. It's a good fan, with strong air flow, when you use it sitting on the couch or your recliner. I won't buy it again because it doesn't meet my various requirements for a fan.I made a carbon filter boot/sock for the back of the unit using this filter.
