I've had my Dash air fryer for a few days now and am very pleased so far. I bought it to replace a 2-qt. model from another manufacturer that had a poor build quality. This unit's 2.6 qt. capacity provides more extra cooking space than my 2 qt. unit than I thought it would, without making it too bulky to fit on my small countertop. I love that it has a handle on the top so I can easily scoot it over to my (cold) glass cooktop, where I set it when it is in use.The digital controls are easy to use. Just press Start twice - once to "wake it up" and once more to start it for 20 min. at 400 degrees. I don't really time my food that closely. But you can easily set up some presets if you want.Cleanup is easy, except that baked-on food like cheese tends to stick to the non-stick tray and it takes some scrubbing to remove. Also, the little silicone tips come off of the tray pretty easily and you'll lose them if you're not careful.This my first air fryer. It’s somewhat like an oven, a convection oven, and a microwave. The speed of cooking is slower than a microwave, but better texture. Both conventional ovens take time to warm up before use, increasing electrical usage, and excess kitchen heat. I have found that frozen food like fries, tots, corn dogs, etc are better defrosted in the fridge for use the next day, or defrosted at 200 degrees for awhile prior to crisping. If you use frozen items at high temperature, the exterior may be browned while the interior is still undercooked. This unit is perfect for 1-4 servings per cooking. It’s relatively small size doesn’t take much countertop when not in use. It does need space around it when in use to vent heat. Nice little item, I recommend it.This is the perfect air fryer if you are making meals for 1-2 people. I bought this for my dorm and I use this pretty much everyday. It’s easy to clean but I recommend putting some aluminum foil down for certain foods like fish or chicken. I made the mistake of cooking a filet of salmon without putting any foil down and the salmon skin would not wash off no matter how much I tried. I popped it in the dishwasher and it was fine basically brand new, but just fyi put some foil down. Other than that this product is the best and it’s very compact and cooks food very well and evenly. Just remember some foods need to be turned over halfway through cooking ??Beautiful! I love that it matches my kitchen! It air frier works really well as far as I can tell. My egg rolls and mozzarella sticks came out nice and crispy. Very easy to use.I do like this a lot I wish it was a little bigger but the color is adorable and sometimes it doesn’t get as hot as I think it should but it’s okay. Worth my money for sure.I Love this air fryer! I bought a bigger air fryer by a well known brand previously & this one has done WAY much better than that 1!Good: Compact, attractive, easy to clean, priceNot good:1. Loud beeps - I want the sound of victory, not something that sounds like an alarm for disaster2. Hot air goes back, not up or to the front, so you cant keep this thing against the wall like all other appliances3. No preheat feature, no option to remind you to turn half way. These two techniques are needed like 90% of the time for good air fry, why not just make them default?4. Touch buttons get hot after a few batches - did a few batches of skewers at 390F and the buttons started to get pretty hot to the touch. Not an issue but I wonder if this will damage the button in the long run.I feel like this thing is 3, 4 design changes away from being a timeless classic appliance. Still, I like the unit but I wouldn't recommend it over the instant pot one. They are pretty much on par.I bought this to replace my microwave, and I do not regret it. It cooks quickly and evenly as long as I do not stack items in it, and that's where I have concerns. It's a deep basket, but one cannot stack food. Not sure why they are designed this way, other than perhaps space savings? If I were to do it again, I would buy an air fryer that is flatter and wider.I use this in a tiny house with no dishwasher, so I purchased the parchment paper liners so I wouldn't have to hand wash every time I use it. They are a life-saver, but they do have an effect on how the food cooks. I recently used it again without the liners, and it was definitely more evenly cooked.Got it at a great price used - like new. First time I turned it on, it made a terrible grinding sound after 5 mins. Stopped it, took it apart, tightened all the screws inside and voilà! Works like a charm! Things get knocked around in shipping… I need a small model that fit under my 12 inch high cupboards. This fits. It’s small, out of the way, sleek looking with the digital display and so easy to use/fast cooking. I just wished the capacity was better but I understand why it’s not. 5 stars for me.I love air frying but the machine I had was taking up all of my available counter.This smaller version is a god send. Perfect for two people and less than half the space. And it is so easy to use with digital controlsLove love love it.This is so perfect for a family of 2. Does all veggies so great. Baby potatoes done great, roasted. Fish and chicken really good.
