This intake really cleans the engine bay up and I think it should have been the default setup on our cars. The OEM intake along with the sound tube is just unnecessarily complicated in my opinion. Fitment is great, it has an OEM look and feel to it. Installation was a breeze and the instruction was very easy to follow.The sound changed quite noticeably inside the cabin. The car is now quieter (I think it's due to the sound tube delete) with the TRD intake and there are more "mechanical" elements to the engine sound. In comparison the OEM intake sounds more "resonated". Does the TRD intake make a great sound? I've heard better engine sounds in my life. But I think for our cars it is as good as a Toyobaru boxer engine gets.Together with a Perrin 2.5" catback I noticed slight throttle response and power improvements. Nothing major though. Fuel economy seems to stay the same - around 30 mpg combined the way I drive it.Overall satisfied. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
