This is an EXTENSIVE well written survival manual. Drawings make sense as does the text. Very helpful resource. Probably even more helpful if you are in the military. I wanted a good reference book for shelter building and general survival skills. Even though in parts it is generalized and doesn't cover modern equipment, it is still excellent and very helpful. For example goes over the care of an axe. It gives you classic info that works and makes sense. Has lots of rope making info, and improvised shelter building. Also some food gathering and escape and evasion info that is useful if you just are a hunter or need to stalk game. The kindle android version works great on my Galaxy 6S, and was nice on my tablet until I broke it.
