I despise the thermal liner being vest only. What happened to keeping arms warm?!?!? What does warm arms add to the price, maybe 5 bucks? When did Cortech get cheap? No back protection to speak of, a piece of foam less than a quarter inch thick. Why do I have to by back protection seperately? Every jacket I've ever purchaded, especially Cortechs, came with a decent CE back pad! Uploaded a picture of the "protection" pad from the back of the jacket. (This part I knew going in; I knew it wasn't a CE pad, but I didn't realize it was the same as not even having a pad!)Worse, and the reason I returned it, is the zipper to attach to pants is different than any jacket I've ever had, including prior Cortechs. Its teeth are the same spacing and profile, but thinner, so the slider won't even go onto the pants side, therefore the jacket won't attach to the pants. In the picture I uploaded, the zipper on my pants is on the left, and the zipper that came with the jacket is on the right. Yes, the jacket comes with a zipper side for the pants, but I'm not going to change out the pants side for ONE FREAKING JACKET out of the others that I own! ALL of my other jackets have the same zipper, and fit all the pants I have. Why is this one different?!Very nice jacket with removable layers, elbow pads located very poorly. They spend more time covering your lower forearms than covering your elbows. Can be fixed with a little customizing of the pocket. Replace the useless back pad with a proper CE back pad. I normally wear a large tall t-shirt. Had to go all the way up to a 2XL tall to get something that was long enough.
