In preparation for our first family Cub Scout camp trip last year, I read reviews for about a week before choosing "SoundAsleep Camping Series Air Mattress with Eco-Friendly PVC - Queen Size with Included Rechargeable Air Pump." It was long arduous hours of comparisons and contemplation. You know it, you've done it. Even still, the proof is in the pudding. I was still nervous about product performance. We just couldn't afford one bad night of sleep that spells 1 week of sore neck & shoulders, backache, heat pack, chiropractor, etc. Verdict: it was amazing!!! We slept comfortably. In fact, the height of the mattress saved us from being wet. We had torrential rain in the middle of the night that woke everyone. Everyone complained about getting wet. We were singing praises of our mattress. It was our first camp out. Our tent accumulated water that we didn't even know about it until we broke camp and saw the puddle inside our tent. We were so grateful for the mattress sparing us from the wet. The rechargeable pump is FANTASTIC. It literally inflated the mattress in minutes! The breakdown was awesome too because the pump reverses and vacuumed the air out of the mattress to a compact pancake so folding and storing was a breeeeze! Absolutely LOVED the product. The reason I am writing today is because, we took out the same mattress for this year's Cub Scout camp trip. This would be the 2nd time using the mattress. I was all excited about a good night sleep when we realized that the mattress was losing air at the beginning of the day. I was fighting it ALLLL day, feeling lots of emotions! We even contemplated leaving camp at bedtime. How can a $90 mattress be only one time use?!? We had the whole camp helping out to see how we could keep the air in it enough for one night. We remained and slept on the mattress, it deflated so much during the night that it was like sleeping on a water bed and not in a fun way.Today I called the customer service, a friendly human being answered and within minutes, I was told that a new one would be sent to my house. Buy without worry. Awesome product, awesome customer service!!!
