No issues. Installed and worked great. This automatic air vent really did the job. I purchased a 1960s vintage Presto Pressure Cooker at a yard sale. The cooker itself wasn't holding a seal very well at the valve. I replaced this and the associated gaskets around the lid and it's like a brand new unit. It's amazing how quiet they are when you have good seals. The vent fit perfectly. you can imagine what the old one looked like!So glad to be able to find and purchase this for a pressure cooker that is at least 45 years old!!Was pleasantly surprised that they were available.Inflation has taken its toll in that many years and cost was about 20 times as what was listed in the original parts list that came with the product. Really; forty years ago it was .25 and now it is around $5 but worth every penny (all 500 of them!) to get the pressure cooker back into operational mode!If it weren't for Amazon I would have no idea where to get replacement parts for my old Presto Pressure cooker! The new air vent works like a charm. I was amazed I could still purchase one, given the age of the Presto Pressure Cooker I have. I am a happy camper. The only thing that sort of surprised me was the amount of packaging used to send that tiny little piece, which is no more than the size of a fingernail. :) Being rather environmental, that is something I would like to see addressed, if possible.Works well.I bought a pressure cooker from goodwill store to try cooking with it. I had to replace all rubber parts on it but it was still well worth the money. The Presto parts came in and installed seamlessly even though the model that I have has gone out of production for years. I am so glad that I was able to "Reduce, Reuse" this pressure cooker.Replacement part.As described. Replacement vents for older Presto pressure cookers.old cooker back life
