The STM Studio is a thoughtfully-designed - and patented - protective cover specifically made to fit the iPad Air. Slim and light case, sufficient protection without adding too much weight or bulk, magnetic lid is great improvement over predecessor (STM Skinny). Only complaint: given that the lid locks in stand position magnetically, if too much force is exerted, the stand will collapse. That could not happen with the mechanically locking Skinny. However, given the overall improvement due to the magnetic lid, I consider this a good trade-off.
