for the price, TrekPak is terrible value.ignoring price, TrekPak is excellent for creating a safe, secure and durable custom dividing system within your Pelican Case. replacing the foam divider system that was included with my case, the TrekPak system offered the potential to increase the overall capacity of my case by way of thinner dividers throughout and the custom nature letting me create a more efficient organization system.the problem is that the kit really could use another yard of divider foam to allow for more creativity. at the retail price, there’s no reason it can’t be included. there’s also no way at this time to buy individual lengths of foam. for photographers, lenses can usually be stored upright, reducing the space required while increasing overall carry capacity. the insufficient amount of foam provided severely limits this possibility.maybe they should offer occupation oriented kits that include varying amounts of foam, specifying how much foam is included, or simply offering lengths of foam individually would alleviate this issue. but to get back to the root of the issue, these kits are obviously pure profit and there’s no reason why every kit couldn’t include at least 1 yard of foam over and above what’s currently packaged in the kits.as such, the overall star rating is not reflective of the function, but the value of this kit and the poor experience most buyers will encounter due to the constrained supply of foam dividers included. be very, very methodical: spend a day to fully plan and devise the most efficient layout possible before making the first cut as you’ll run out of foam quickly.
